Dr. Ashish Malhotra told in his lecture that smoking tobacco or consuming any kind of intoxicants can make you a heart patient. Along with this Sir suggested that balanced diet in which fruits and vegetables should be used, vegetarian diet, conscious lifestyle, getting enough sleep, regular exercise. It can make your heart healthy. Apart from this, the use of fast food and stress can also be the main cause of heart disease, so it is necessary for a person to stay away from stress and get enough sleep for 7 hours. If you are above 40 years of age and if there is a history of heart disease in your family, then you should keep getting regular checkups done. And lifestyle changes can reduce the risk of heart disease to some extent. If you keep diabetes or blood pressure under control, you can reduce the risk of heart attack to some extent.
The queries of the students were also resolved in the programme. The program was started by Dr. Sunita Dubey, Red Cross Unit Incharge with program details. The subject matter expert was introduced by Mrs. Aditi Bhagat, Assistant Professor of Commerce. The vote of thanks was done by Jageshwari, a B.Com final year student. Principal of the college Dr. Shabnoor Siddiqui along with all the assistant professors were present in the programme. And more than 200 students benefited by joining through Google Meet and YouTube link.
